The Model
The field contains attractors. You don’t “find” attractors by looking inward like objects. What you have is a sensor that can detect directionality—gradients of salience, warmth/cold, pull/release, coherence/dissonance.
Mode 1 — Sensing (Dog Nose)
Sensing is continuous, low-energy, and largely non-verbal. It answers: “Is something here?” and “Is this getting warmer or colder?” It works best when you’re within range, and when you’re not forcing articulation.
Mode 2 — Probing (Marco Polo)
Probing is intentional and interactive. It extends your range by calling out—making small, reversible moves and watching what responds. Probing answers: “If I move this way, does anything answer?”
Range + Motion
Range matters. You can often smell what won’t respond, and you can fail to smell what would respond immediately if you called out. Motion is not commitment; motion is measurement.
The Basic Loop
If you feel stuck, you may be in sensing-without-probing. If you feel frantic, you may be probing-without-sensing. Switching modes (or moving) is often the fix.
ULiUA Label
“Acceptance” here is treated as on the path toward unconditional love—acceptance → unconditional love. The stance is consent-forward: the model helps reduce coercion-by-plan and replaces it with responsive navigation.
